Busy Start to Week for SCHS Tennis

It is a busy week for Stephens County High School tennis.

On Monday afternoon, the high school tennis teams lost to Rabun County on the road in a non-region match.

The Indians lost 5-0 to Rabun and the Lady Indians lost 4-0.

Moving to Tuesday, the Stephens County High School tennis teams hosted Chestatee in a Region 8-AAAA match.

The Indian boys won over the War Eagles, 4-1.

Stephens County’s boys took two of three singles matches and both doubles matches to secure the win.

However, the Lady Indian tennis team lost 4-0 to Chestatee’s girls.

The Lady Indians are now 3-9 overall on the tennis court this year and 1-6 in the region, while the boys are 3-4 in the region and 4-8 overall.

Next up for the Stephens County High School tennis teams is a home match today against Johnson High School of Gainesville.
