Camp Toccoa Project Committee to Host Banquet

The Camp Toccoa at Currahee Project Committee is hosting a banquet on Friday, June 2.

A reception with cash bar and silent auction will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a dinner to follow at 7 p.m.

Colonel Joe Alexander, the past president of the 101st Associaton and Trustee of the Camp Toccoa at Currahee Board, will be the guest speaker at the event. Alexander served with Currahees of the  3rd Battalion 506th Airborne Infantry during Vietnam.

There will also be live music provided by the Big Teach, a group of musicians who are high school teachers in the area.

The banquet will include a meal of pork loin or chicken with sides, bread, dessert and tea or coffee. Tickets are $40 per person or you may reserve a table for eight for $350.
