Career Coach Coming to Royston Public Library next week

Job seekers looking for help will want to visit the Royston Public Library next month
That’s where the Georgia Mountains Regional Commission’s Workforce Development Career Coach will be located on Monday, June 12. The library is located at 634 Franklin Springs Street in Royston.
Instructor Micah Thomas said it’s a good opportunity to get some free help finding work. He said they offer a short evaluation that helps job seekers decide what new career would be best suited for them.
And often changing careers means getting new training or furthering one’s education.
Thomas says the Mobile Training Unit team will also help by showing the applicant where to get that training. And he said they can even apply for financial aid.
There is no charge for the help offered by the Mobile Training Unit team. The Career Coach visits Royston, Lavonia and Hartwell on a regular basis.
To find out when they will be in your area, you can contact them at: 770-538-2629.
