The bridge on East Mize Road in Habersham County has been reopened. Habersham County officials announced on Tuesday, August 3, that the bridge has been repaired and is now open to traffic. The East Mize Road bridge, in Demorest, was closed on July 20, after a period of heavy rainfall in Habersham County.

The 2021 WNEG Senior Expo will be held tomorrow from 9 A.M.-1 P.M. at the Stephens County Recreation Department Roselane Activity Center and Senior Center.
