Currahee Club Hosting Farmer and Artisan Market Saturday

Saturday is the third annual Currahee Farmer and Artisan Market.

Currahee Club Community Manager Anne Shurley said that the daylong event will take place on the grand lawn of the Currahee Club’s Amenity Campus.

“We are partnering with Stephens County Farmers Market, Currahee Artists’ Guild, local businesses, writers, artisans, as well as Currahee Vineyard,” said Shurley. “It is going to be a great time to just walk through our Amenity Center, sample food, do some shopping. We have about 45 participants so there is something for everybody.”

Shurley went on to say that there will be a wide variety of items for people to purchase at Saturrday’s event.

“We will have pottery, hiking canes, bird houses, watermelons, outside garden decor, signs, eggs, fresh vegetables, and fruits,” said Shurley.

There will also be wine samples, jams, jellies, honey, and more, according to Shurley.

Again, the third annual Currahee Farmer and Artisan Market is on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the grand lawn of the Currahee Club’s Amenity Campus.

The event is free to attend.

People should enter at the Club’s entrance gate at the end of Oak Valley Road.

Shurley said people will be able to park at the Amenity Campus and there will be shuttles if necessary.

AM 630 WNEG will also be broadcasting live on location on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.
