Disturbance Call Leads to Drug Arrest
Toccoa Police make a drug arrest after responding to a disturbance call over the weekend.
Chief Tim Jarrell said an officer responded to a reported disturbance on Hillcrest Drive last Friday at about 11 p.m.
“While investigating, the disturbance, they were able to recover a small amount of marijuana and during the course of the investigation, the officer had reason to believe that there was more marijuana at the residence. A search warrant was obtained for the residence. During the execution of the search warrant, a green, leafy substance believed to be marijuana was located in various locations throughout the house.”
