Stancil said this is one way that Oconee Federal shows its support of the local community.

“We are so pleased to be here tonight to support Toccoa and Stephens County,” said Stancil. “Oconee Federal is a community-minded bank and we are pleased to give back tonight. We know our donation of $7,500 will be used to help United Way, to help Stephens County, and the various agencies they support and we look forward to doing many more contributions in the future for this community.”

Meanwhile, Williams said she was glad to accept the donation on behalf of the Stephens County United Way.

“On behalf of the United Way of Stephens County, I would like to thank Oconee Federal for their donation,” said Williams. “This will go a long way in helping people in our community. This donation also helped us to exceed our campaign goal so we are very thankful and excited to be able to meet many needs in Stephens County.”
