Kersh gives Graduation Update at BOE Meeting

Stephens County High School Principal Scott Kersh gave a graduation update at last night’s Board of Education meeting.

According to Kersh, there are approximately 214 seniors graduating this year and he says this class has earned an exceptional amount of scholarship money.

“The 2017 senior class of Stephens County High School has earned in college and local scholarship money a total of $1.4 million, the four-year potential earnings for HOPE Scholarships is a total of $2.5 million,” said Kersh. “This brings the total earnings for the Class of 2017 to $3.9 million. They’ve had a lot of success.”

Graduation will be Friday, May 19 at 7 p.m. in the Stephens County High School stadium.
