Local Industry Plant Manager Featured In Publication

The plant manager at a local industry is being featured in a national publication.

Cope Closet Concepts Plant Manager Derrick Woody is being featured in an edition of National Hardwood Magazine in the Who’s Who section.

National Hardwood Magazine is published monthly and focuses on industry news for both buyers and suppliers of hardwood lumber.

Woody has been the Plant Manager at Cope Closets for two years, after starting at the closet shelving manufacturer in 2010.

In his job, he oversees all plant management operations, including supervising a crew of 18 people working two shifts.

Also, he manages inventory control and lumber purchasing.

Cope Closet Concepts CEO and Owner Nanette Donahue said that she feels like much of their success can be attributed to the wonderful work that Woody does.

For his part, Woody said he has not done anything special, but he says he just does his job the best he can.

Cope Closet Concepts is located in the Meadowbrook Industrial Park.

It specializes in all-wood, ventilated closet shelving that can be found in homes and businesses across the Southeast, as well as in Virginia, New York, and the Carribbean.
