New Year’s Government Schedule Announced

Local governments are announcing their schedules for the New Year’s holiday.

Both Stephens County government offices and Toccoa City Hall will be closed Thursday in observance of New Year’s Day.

In the city of Toccoa, routes for garbage and recycling scheduled to be picked up on Thursday will be picked up on Friday.

Commercial garbage will be picked up as usual, but yard waste and other items will not be picked up.
