NGTC, Stovall Machine Products Team Up For Scholarship

A northeast Georgia industry announces a new scholarship for Franklin County students in conjunction with North Georgia Tech.

The North Georgia Technical College Foundation has announced that Stovall Machine Products has established a scholarship for the CNC and Tool and Die Programs at the college.

The first scholarship will be awarded for spring semester 2017, and a student may receive up to $375 per semester to cover the cost of tuition, fees, required equipment or books.

Rebecca Stovall, Vice President of Stovall Machine Products, Inc., serves on the Engineering Technology Advisory Committee at the college along with her husband, Dwight Stovall.

She said the scholarship is an exciting opportunity for Stovall Machine Products and they look forward to continuing ther involvement with North Georgia Technical College.

In order to be eligible for the scholarship, a student must be enrolled in the CNC and Tool and Die Program, demonstrate a financial need, complete a scholarship application and be a resident of Franklin County.
