No Injuries In Residential Fires

A Stephens County family has lost everything after their trailer caught on fire Tuesday night.

Stephens County Sheriff Randy Shirley said crews from Carnes Creek, New Hope, and Eastanollee Fire Departments responded to a double-wide trailer on the 100 block of Racetrack Road just after 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Shirley said that when deputies and fire crews arrived, the double wide was fully involved.

He said nobody was injured, but the homeowners lost everything in the fire and the trailer is a total loss.

Shirley said the origin of the fire is believed to be not intentional.

Elsewhere, crews responded to a residential fire Wednesday on Hurricane Grove Road.

According to the sheriff, nobody was injured in that fire.
