Toccoa Police are reporting that a man was arrested on Currahee Street on drug charges last week.

According to a report on file with police, an officer encountered an individual identified as 35-year-old Todd Holder of Toccoa on West Currahee Street back on December 28.

The officer reported that Holder allegedly was in possession of a glass pipe and a clear plastic baggy contained a white substance.

Police said Holder was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Related Objects.

Elsewhere, Toccoa Police are investigating a break-in to an automobile.

On December 26, a woman reported that her purse was taken from inside her vehicle at a Big A Road store’s parking lot.

Finally, Toccoa Police said numerous people are reporting recent thefts.

Two were reported on December 25.

Police reported that a Ridgecrest Drive woman reported that someone had taken a black mountain bike from behind her apartment.

Meanwhile, police reported that two Sound Pond Street residents told them that two bicycles were taken from their apartment complexes.

Those incidents both remain under investigation.
