SCHS Wrestling Regular Season Ends

The Stephens County High School wrestling team wraps up the regular season.

Tuesday, the Indian wrestlers picked up two dual meet wins to finish the regular season with a 15-5 record.

Stephens County began by defeating Rabun Gap 56-21.

Then, the Indians honored five seniors. They are Brooks McLaughlin, Cole Simmons, Jay Stowe, Corey Kindel, and Cooper Long.

In the final match of the night, the Indians defeated Riverside Military Academy 43-30.

Indian wrestler Jay Stowe picked up his 100th career win in the nightcap.

Next up for the Indians is this Saturday at home when Stephens County hosts the Area Traditional tournament. Wrestling begins at 9:30 a.m.
