Seneca Police Say Suspect in Attempted Bank Robbery May be from Ga.

seneca suspectAuthorities with the Seneca, South Carolina Police Department said a suspect in an attempted bank robbery there earlier this year may be from Georgia.

On January 22 at around noon, Seneca Police responded to the threat of the use of an explosive device during an attempted bank robbery at the State Credit Union on North Radio Station Road.

According to Seneca Police, the suspect was spotted on surveillance photos and allegedly purchased a phone used during the incident at the Seneca Wal-Mart the day before.

Seneca Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual or his vehicle.

The individual is described by authorities as white, medium build, looks to be middle aged, and was wearing a grey suit with a white shirt, along with a hat and sunglasses.
