Single-Vehicle Accident Takes the Life of a Homer Man

A Friday morning single-vehicle wreck on GA 51 in Franklin County results in one fatality.

Robert Alexander Lewis, 19 of Homer ,was headed east on GA 51 during the 4 o’ clock hour Friday morning in a 2005 Chevrolet Colorado when he entered a curve to the left, traveled off the road to the right and then struck a tree with the left front of the truck, according to Georgia State Patrol 52 in Hartwell.

Lewis was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries from the wreck.
