Summer Movie Series at the Ritz starts tomorrow

Main Street Toccoa’s 2017 Summer Movies at the Ritz series will begin tomorrow and run every Thursday through July 27.

Showtimes for every Thursday are at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets and concession are $1 per person and concessions include popcorn for evening shows, candy bars, Coke products, chips and cookies.

Community Development Specialist Christian Hamilton says this is a great opportunity for a family event.

“It’s a wonderful event for family, for dates, really it’s a good way to fill the summer months,” said Hamilton. “It is affordable for the family, it’s a dollar a ticket and concessions are only $1. We try to provide a great atmosphere for families to bring out their kids. All movies are pretty much family friendly, but we really do try to pick movies that the entire family can enjoy.”

Hamilton said they will be using their new surround sound system for the movies, which he says will contribute to the quality of the movies.

The movie scheduled for tomorrow is The Secret Life of Pets and other movies throughout the summer include Trolls, Sing and The Jungle Book. For the rest of the summer’s movie schedule, you can visit ritztheatretoccoa.com.
