Toccoa Little League Competes in District 7 Tournament
One Toccoa team won and one Toccoa team lost in District 7 Little League tournament play on Sunday in Danielsville.
The Toccoa 9 & 10 Baseball Team defeated Habersham, 12-2 in five innings. Toccoa batters had 15 hits and Toccoa pitcher, Jack Wilhoit, pitched a complete game, giving up only 2 runs, 6 hits and striking out 6 batters.
Konner Loudermilk led Toccoa’s hitting with a double and 2 singles with 3 RBI’s. Toccoa will play Hart County Tuesday night in a winner’s bracket game at 6 pm. Hart advanced with a 9-3 win over Rabun County Sunday.

In the 10 & 11 Baseball Tournament, Toccoa was eliminated with a loss to Habersham, 11 to 5. That was Toccoa’s second loss in the tournament, after losing to Madison County in a close game on Saturday, 4-3.
Also in the 10 & 11 Baseball Tournament Sunday, Franklin County defeated Madison County, 11-1.
