Toccoa Planning Commission Updating Comprehensive Plan

The Toccoa Planning Commission is working to update their comprehensive plan.

According to Planning Director Connie Tabor, this is a planning tool for future growth and direction in the community.

The last time the plan was updated was in 2012, and it must be updated every five years.

The Commission is looking to get feedback from the community about what they believe the vision for Toccoa should be.

The public can give feedback by filling out the comprehensive plan survey. The survey can be found on the City of Toccoa’s website or on Main Street Toccoa’s website.

Tabor said that by participating in the survey, the public can have input on the future vision of the community.

Once the comprehensive plan is updated, the city will refer to it when making decisions about what they want to focus on moving forward.
