Toccoa Unveils Ping’s Grill

The city of Toccoa unveils its latest addition to the golf course.

Officials from the city and region gathered at the Links at Lake Toccoa Thursday to cut the ribbon on the new Ping’s Grill at Lake Toccoa.

Located in the pro shop building, Ping’s Grill offers hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, appetizers, and more.

Toccoa Mayor Evan Hellenga said they are excited to show everyone another side of the golf course property.

“We are finally getting a chance to kick the tires on the new grill here and let everyone see all the work that has gone on as far as renovating, re-furbishing the golf course and what a true asset it is for the community, whether you are a golfer or not,” said Hellenga. “There are other activities that are going to be taking place here. It is going to have an events center. We are going to have family reunions, class reunions, wedding receptions. It is going to be used for many different things going forward.”

Ping’s Grill is open Sundays through Tuesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Thursdays from 11:30 to 7 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. It is closed on Wednesdays.

It is located at the Links at Lake Toccoa, which is on Black Mountain Road, just off of Falls Road/Talmadge Drive.

Thursday’s ribbon-cutting also served as a joint event for the Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce and the Habersham Chamber of Commerce.
