She said she just felt Truett-McConnell was the best fit for her on the volleyball court and also off the court.

“It is a good Christian school and it just helps me to further my relationship with God and just to know he is there for me at all times and Coach K (the volleyball coach) is amazing,” said Trimier.

She went on to say that while she is signing for volleyball, she would like to also play basketball.

“It would be a great opportunity because I love both of the sports and would not want to give up one for the other,” said Trimier.

Trimier played both varsity volleyball and basketball at Stephens County High School.

Off the court in college, Trimier said she would like to study education and then teach middle school and coach.

Meanwhile, Jordan Preston signed Wednesday to play soccer at Toccoa Falls College.

She did say she has a preference if it was her choice.

“Goalkeeper is definitely where my heart is at,” she said. “When you save the ball, it is amazing.”
