SCH CEO’s contract extended through June, 2018

Stephens County Hospital’s Interim Chief Executive Officer Roger Forgey’s contract has been extended through June 9, 2018, and will renew automatically there after.

During the recent Stephens County Hospital Authority meeting, the authority unanimously approved extending Forgey’s contract.

Forgey succeeds Lynne Anderson who resigned as CEO, last October.

The Authority retained Forgey in August 2017 to serve as turnaround consultant and assist the hospital management team in identifying and executing the performance improvement plan it began implementing in late 2016.

Board Chair Mark  Wilkinson told WNEG News that the board is grateful for all Forgey has done for the hospital.

Under Forgey’s leadership Stephens County Hospital has progressed in automation, revenue integrity, community outreach, cost cutting, business development and partnership development.
