Chamber of Commerce to host Business After Hours at the Orchard

The Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce along with the Habersham County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a business after hours at the Orchard Golf and Country Club this Thursday at 5 p.m.

The two chambers do a joint business after hours each year and take turns hosting.

This year, Habersham is hosting and their Chamber of Commerce President Judie Taylor said this is a chance for both chamber members to meet new people.

“The reason is to give our members, both Stephens County members and Habersham members new contacts,” said Taylor. “A business after hours is a networking event, and when we have new faces there and new county representation there, it’s new contact information for our members.”

The Orchard Golf and Country Club is a private golf club and Taylor said the business after hours gives non-members a chance to get in and see the facilities.

On Thursday, there will be beverages and hors devours available. Taylor described what else visitors can expect.

“Both of us, Julie and I,will do some talking about what’s going on and we both introduce new members from the last month. It’s a great atmosphere.”

Visitors are welcome to attend the business after hours.
