District 7 L.L. Softball Tourneys Nearing Conclusions

Franklin County wins the District 7 Little League 9-10 softball title.

Wednesday, Franklin beat Hart, 15-5 in the championship game at the Doyle Street Park in Toccoa.

The win moves Franklin on to the state tournament.

Meanwhile, there is still one more District 7 softball title to be decided this week in Toccoa.

Habersham plays Madison at 7 p.m. tonight at the Doyle Street Park in the championship round of the 11-12 Little League softball tournament.

Madison got to the finals by defeating Franklin, 8-2, on Wednesday.

Habersham is undefeated in the 11-12 softball district tourney, so a win tonight by Habersham gives them the title.

If Madison wins, the two teams would play again Friday.
