The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office assists in the take-down of a multi-state drug ring.

This week, United States Attorney Beth Drake announced that two members of a large, multi-state drug trafficking organization were sentenced back on February 9 in federal district court.

Authorities said 36-year-old Mister T. Crocker of Columbia, South Carolina and 37-year-old Lashaun Fair of Anderson, South Carolina were members of a drug trafficking organization that operated for approximately 13 years in multiple states, including South Carolina, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, and Texas.

According to authorities, members of the conspiracy distributed millions of dollars’ worth of cocaine, crack cocaine, and marijuana during the course of the conspiracy.

The court sentenced Crocker to 30 months imprisonment and Fair to 60 months imprisonment for their respective roles in the drug organization.

Both men were arrested on separate occasions in 2014 on multiple drug charges.

The original arrest involved multiple law enforcement agencies, included the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, the Anderson Police Department, and the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, along with others.
