GBI to Reward Citizens who Helped in Apprehending Escaped Inmates

After a nationwide manhunt last week, the two inmates who escaped from a Georgia State Prison were finally apprehended Thursday night in central Tennessee.

According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, civilians in the area where Ricky Dubose and Donnie Rowe were found assisted in the capturing of the inmates.

The GBI reports that the $130,000 reward that was being offered for anyone who assisted in their capturing will be dispersed at the appropriate time. Law enforcement is still investigating the apprehension to determine how to disperse the reward.
