Indians Fall At Home to N. Hall in Baseball

The North Hall Trojans evened up their Region 8-AAAA baseball series with a resounding 18-3 win over the Stephens County Indians Monday night at the Reservation in Toccoa.

North Hall scored in every inning but the fourth inning, starting off with three runs in the top of the first inning.

Dylan Simpson drove in a run in the fourth inning for Stephens County and Cole Beitzel drove in a couple of runs with a double in the fifth inning to finish the Indians’ scoring.

Zack Boyd lasted one inning on the mound for Stephens County. He was followed by Dylan Simpson, Dylan Huff, and Gabe White.

Sophomore Reece Olsen went 4 1/3 innings for North Hall and picked up the win.

The Indians are now 4-4 in region play and 8-10 overall. North Hall increased its region record to 7-1, while moving its overall record to 12-5.

Stephens County will try to bounce back on Wednesday against North Oconee at the Reservation in Toccoa.

First pitch is set for 5:55 p.m.
