Lady Indian Softball Wins Again

Stephens County picks up yet another region softball win.

Tuesday, the Lady Indians beat the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes, 5-1.

Natalie Morgan led Stephens County at the plate, going 2 for 4 with a triple, single, and two RBIs.

On the mound, McKenzie Rogers pitched a complete game for the win, allowing just three hits and one unearned run, while striking out three.

With the win, the Lady Indians’ record is now 5-2 in the region and 16-5 overall.

Next up for the Stephens County High School softball team is a region game at home on Thursday against Chestatee.
