MLK Day activities continue this weekend

Activities for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. continue into this weekend, with the Senior Citizens Reflections slated to begin Saturday, at 3:00 p.m. held at Deercourt C.M.E. Church.

Other activities include the annual Musical Extravaganza, on Sunday, Jan. 14, beginning at 5 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church.

Activities conclude with the annual Interfaith Service and March for Peace in Toccoa to remember Dr. King on Monday, Jan. 15.

The Interfaith Service will be held at noon on Jan. 15 at Trinity C.M.E. Church in Toccoa with the March for Peace starting at 2 p.m. in front of Trinity C.M.E. Church and ending at Toccoa City Hall.
