Oconee County, SC Authorities Charge Baldwin Woman With Filing False Report

A Baldwin woman faces charges in Oconee County, South Carolina for filing a false police report.

The Oconee County, South Carolina Sheriff’s Office said that officers in Habersham County arrested 21-year-old Eulalia Miguel of Baldwin Thursday.

Miguel has been charged with Filing a False Police Report of a Felony Violation.

According to the Oconee County, South Carolina Sheriff’s Office, Miguel made allegations to that office on April 27 that an individual had robbed her of $2,500.

Oconee County, South Carolina authorities said that as the investigation continued, warrants were obtained against an individual after a positive identification was made on April 29.

However, the Oconee County, South Carolina Sheriff’s Office said that as the investigation continued, evidence came to light that cleared the individual authorities had charged with strong armed robbery and as a result, the warrant was recalled.

According to the arrest warrant filed in South Carolina, Miguel is accused of filing a false police report stating that she was the victim of the strong armed robbery while knowing the allegations were false.
