Oconee County SC Sheriff’s Office Asking for Help to Find a Stolen Tractor

The Oconee County South Carolina Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find a tractor that was stolen from The Cliffs at Keowee Falls.

Sheriff’s office spokesman Jimmy Watt tells WNEG News that on Thursday, March 15, a deputy from the Uniform Patrol Division responded to an address on Indian Trail near Salem in regards to reports of a stolen orange in color 2010 Kubota M6040 tractor with a yellow/tan fertilizer hopper on the back.

The tractor, according to deputies, is valued at around $65,000.

At this time, deputies believe that the tractor was stolen sometime between midnight and 3am on March 15th and that the vehicle that took the tractor exited the golf course on Shallowford Road.

The case has been turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division of the Sheriff’s Office and information concerning the tractor was issued to surrounding agencies.
