The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office said three people face misdemeanor theft by taking charges after a recent theft on Scenic Drive.
According to the report that was filed on March 25, scrap metal was taken from someone and it was found at another location.
The report stated that 18-year-old Austin Keith Rockwell, 31-year-old Cynthia Denise Fleming, and 26-year-old Derrick Cecil White, all of Toccoa, were arrested and charged with one count of misdemeanor theft by taking.
Elsewhere, the Sheriff’s Office said it arrested two people on drug charges.
According to the report, deputies were attempting to serve a warrant at a location in Toccoa when 35-year-old Jackson Chad Childs and 27-year-old Tonya Haralson Davis, both of Toccoa, were arrested for illegal possession of a controlled substance and other charges.
Finally, the Toccoa Police Department said it arrested a Toccoa man on drug charges.
According to the report, police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of West Currahee and West Franklin streets on March 24 and arrested Michael Allen McIntyre of Toccoa on felony possession of cocaine and other charges.
