On its Facebook page, the Toccoa Police Department says it has recovered a push mower believed to have been stolen on or around May 28, 2015.

Police say that if anyone is missing this mower or knows who is missing it and can identify it, please contact Sgt. Jimmy Mize at the Toccoa Police Department.

Elsewhere, the Toccoa Police Department responded to Davis Avenue on Monday in reference to a reported burglary.

According to the report, the resident noticed the side door to the residence had been forced open, but nothing was taken.

The incident happened between 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, the Toccoa Fire Department responded to Saxon Place in reference to a house fire last week.

The fire occurred in the early morning hours of June 19, according to a report on file.

According to a report, it is believed the fire was caused by a lightning strike.
