Rabun Co. Teen Still Missing

The search continues for a missing Rabun County teenager.

Thursday, Rabun County Sheriff Frank Andrews said there was no update on leads in the search for missing Rabun County teen Ashley Brianna Wayne.

Andrews said they are still working on leads and working non-stop on the case.

Also, he said that the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are both assisting in the case.

Since Wayne went missing, authorities have ruled out someone initially considered a person of interest.

Investigation has shown that the male resident Wayne was believed to be with, Atlanta resident Justin Dixon, was ruled out as a person of interest in the case.

Wayne was last seen on Monday at about 12:30 p.m. at Rabun County High School.

Ashley Brianna Wayne is a white female, blue eyes, dark brown hair, five feet and five inches tall, 125 pounds. When she was last seen, she was wearing a black and gray hoodie with “Lakers” written in white across the front and floral sleeves. She was also wearing grey sweatpants with BOSS in large letters down the legs and red, white, and black high top sneakers.
