The Toccoa Rookie League Softball All-Stars will go for a state title this weekend.

Toccoa will travel to Warner Robins for the State Rookie League Softball Championships.

Four teams are vying for the championship, two from the Northeast region and two from the South region.

It is a double-elimination tournament.

As the top seed from the Northeast region, Toccoa will play the second-place team from the South region at 10 a.m. Saturday in its first game.

Win or lose, Toccoa’s second game will be at 1 p.m. Saturday.

The state Little League website does not yet list the other teams taking part in the tournament.

Toccoa’s Rookie Leaguers have yet to lose during their All-Star run, sweeping through both the District 7 tournament and the Northeast regional tournament.
