SCHS Basketball Splits with Seneca, S.C.

Friday night, the Stephens County Indians took on the Seneca Bobcats in both boys’ and girls’ action.

In the boys’ game, the Indians dominated the Seneca Bobcats, 60-30.

De’Undre Singleton led the Indians with 21 points. He scored 10 of those in the third period to propel Stephens County to the victory.
Nunu walked scored 13 points and Ty Nails added 10 in the win.

The Indians moved to 4-1 on the season and took on Dacula High School Saturday in the East Hall Showcase.

Moving to the girls’ game, the Lady Indians fall 47-42 to the Lady Bobcats from Seneca in what was a close game throughout.

There were multiple lead changes in the game, and the Indians held a two-point lead in the fourth period, but just could not come up with the win.

Tykia Thompson led the Lady Indians with 16 points and Anaiah Wilson scored 12 points.

The Lady Indians fell to 0-7 on the season.

Stephens County is back in action again on Tuesday night against Rabun County High School. Girls varsity action begins at 6 p.m. with the boys’ game to follow.
