SCHS Golf teams will be represented at State Tournaments

The Stephens County High School girl’s golf team is returning to the state tournament for the 2nd year in a row.  The team finished fourth in the area tournament recently with a team score of 300.  Andi Brock, Abby Akin, Breanna Leverette, and Mallory Caldwell are the team members.  Brannon Hulsey is the coach.

The Quad-A girls tournament will be held at Innsbruck golf course in Helen Monday, May 21^st and Tuesday, May 22^nd.

A member of the Stephens County boy’s golf team qualified for the state tournament as an individual for the Indians.  Luke Thomas was tied for 5th and he shot a 78 in the area tournament to qualify for the state tournament.  The Quad-A boy’s tournament will be held at Achasta golf course in Dahlonega May 21^st and May 22^nd.
