SCMS Basketball Update

In a middle school basketball update … the Stephens County Middle School 7th grade boys lost to Hart County last Tuesday, 40-26. Kenny Colwell led the Rebels with 12 points.

Meanwhile, the regular season is coming to a close for middle school basketball.

Stephens County Middle School shares a conference with Elbert, Franklin, Hart, and Madison counties.

Their conference basketball tournament starts on Wednesday after being delayed due to inclement weather recently.

All of this year’s middle school tournament games will be at Stephens County Middle School.

Two games will be played on Wednesday and Thursday with games both days starting at 4:30 p.m.

Four games will be played on Friday with the start time at 4:30 p.m. and four more games will be played on Saturday with the start times at 10 a.m.

The championship games are set for Monday and Tuesday of next week, with two games each day and games both days starting at 4:30 p.m.
