Smith Earns All-Region

Stephens County High School tennis player Ben Smith has been named to the Region-8 AAAA All-Region 2nd team.

Smith, a junior, had a 12-4 record this past year playing #1 singles. Smith has played the top singles position for the Indians the past three seasons.

The complete All-Region team, including coaches and players of the year, is set to be announced May 10th. Two of the Regions girls teams, North Oconee and St. Pius, and two boys teams, Jefferson and North Oconee, are still competing in the AAAA State playoffs.
