State-Wide Search for Prison Escapees Still Underway
A $70,000 reward is now being offered for two inmates who escaped from Baldwin State Prison in Putnam County yesterday.
A statewide manhunt has been going on since early Tuesday morning when autorities say the two overpowered and killed two guards in a prison transport van.
One of those escapees is from Madison County and the pair have been sighted in middle Georgia.
These men are armed and considered dangerous, and if you see them, law enforcement says not to approach them. Instead call your local law enforcement.
