Stephens County Indians to play Madison County tonight

The Stephens County Indians will be on the road tonight looking to pick up their first region win on the gridiron.  The Indians will play Madison County tonight in Danielsville.

Stephens County is 3-3 overall and 0-1 in Region 8-AAAA after last Friday’s 28-13 home loss to St. Pius.

Meanwhile, Madison County is 2-4 on the season, and 0-1 in region play. The Red Raiders were off last week after losing to Jefferson, 49-0, two weeks ago.

Last night on the Crunch Time radio show, Indians’ Defensive Coordinator Roger Gentry said the Indians had a good week of practice and are ready to play.

Kick-off tonight from Danielsville is set for 7:30 p.m.

Coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. on the 93.1 FM and AM 630 WNEG with the Indian Road Show. Coach’s Corner starts at 7 p.m. and pre-game coverage from the stadium starts at 7:15 p.m.
