Toccoa Main Street Events Coordinator Sharon Crosby says Taste of Toccoa was a fun, great event again this year. “We had great weather and participation. It was a really good family event. We were thankful the weather was so beautiful it always helps people to want to come out.”

Next year Main Street Toccoa will be celebrating the 25th year of the event and Crosby says the day and time will be different. “Next year we are looking at doing it on a Saturday. When we started the event we chose Thursday because we thought it would help the restaurants. Over the years things have changed. Talking with the restaurants we decided to change it for our 25th to a Saturday from 11-2.”

Next year’s event is set for Saturday, May 2. Crosby says everyone feels that it will be a good change.
