Toccoa 11 & 12 Little League All-Stars Eliminated from State Tournament

Toccoa lost to Athens, 12-8, Wednesday night and were eliminated from the State Little League Baseball Tournament in Peachtree City.

Each team scored 5 runs in the first inning.  But with Athens holding a slim 7-6 advantage going into the top of the 4th inning,  Athens broke the game open with 5 runs.

Toccoa scored 2 additional runs in the final 2 innings, including a solo home run by Carson Worley, but could not get any closer.  Athens will move on to play another elimination bracket game on Friday.
