Toccoa 8-9-10 Little League Softball Heading to State Tournament

Carson Stowe struck out 10 hitters including the final two with the bases loaded and Toccoa held on to defeat Franklin County 1-nothing in the Georgia District 7 Little League 8-9-10 Softball Championship game last night in Rabun County.

Toccoa’s lone run came in the third inning when Kylee Glaze singled, went to third on a sacrifice bunt, and scored on a passed ball. 

Toccoa also got hits from Riley Walker, Da’ Riyah Bell, and Brooklyn Brown. Stowe limited Franklin County to just 2 hits. 

Toccoa will now travel to Warner Robins to compete in the State Tournament with the first game scheduled for Sunday at noon. 

This was the 4^th District Championship for the Toccoa Little League this summer.
