U.S. DEA Launches Website Focused on Preventing Drug Abuse in College

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration recently launched CampusDrugPrevention.gov, a new website focused on preventing and addressing college drug use.

DEA Acting Administrator Chuck Rosenberg said that this website gives valuable information to higher education leaders who can use it to teach and change the culture of drug among college students.

This new website is part of the DEA’s effort to support drug abuse prevention programs on college campuses and in surrounding communities.

The website serves as a resource for professionals working to prevent drug abuse amount college students and also a tool for students, parents and others involved on college campuses.

CampusDrugPrevention.gov offers data, news updates, drug scheduling and penalties, publications, research, state and local prevention contacts and more. Additionally, it includes a “Help a Friend” resource to educate and prepare anyone planning to talk to someone about drug use concerns.
